Recruited by the CEO to co-run the company. Oversaw operations, managed the development team, ran the leadership team, and tripled the product offering at this pet wellness startup.
Running the Company
As Chief of Staff at PetFriendly, the CEO recruited me directly to work as his second. I oversaw day-to-day operations, managed the engineering team, and ran the leadership meetings. When a decision was needed and the CEO was unavailable, I made the call.
Tripling the Product
PetFriendly grew from a single product into a multi-product platform. We tripled the product offering. That meant spotting market opportunities, prioritizing features from customer feedback, and coordinating engineering, design, and marketing to ship on time.
Building the Team
I also worked on team culture. I ran hiring, onboarded new engineers, and set up the routines a small startup needs to stay organized as it grows.
