Nathan Knisley
Senior Product Manager + Agile Coach, Chief of Staff, Builder, Audio Engineer, Bikepacker, and Dad
Building and Shipping Products
Live sites and apps I designed and shipped: nathank.build, odditycycles.com, crawlerado.com and its Find Unpaved gravel map, sleepmat.app, and hellokristin.co. I write the code, using LLM-based tools as my engineering partner.
PetFriendly: Chief of Staff
I co-ran a pet-wellness startup alongside the CEO. Led an 11-person engineering team, ran operations and the leadership team, and tripled the product offering.
Flywheel: Product Leadership
I led delivery for Flywheel's second product, Local Pro. Ran the roadmap from user research through go-to-market, across engineering, design, and marketing.
Scaling Agile: 20 to 80+ Builders
As Agile Coach at Flywheel/WP Engine, I grew the Scrum organization from 20 to 80-plus and coached client teams across four countries on Scrum, Kanban, and release planning. I learned the craft from Scrum co-creator Jeff Sutherland and Mike Cohn.
Giving Back
Board leadership, mentoring the same kid for nine years, food drives, and shelter volunteering. Showing up matters.
Crawlerado Bikepacking
A bikepacking community I founded in Northern Colorado, plus the web app behind it: interactive gravel-road discovery, gear checklists, and ride planning. Built and shipped solo.
Audio Engineer
Before product, I made records. Engineering, mixing, mastering, and session work on 50-plus releases across the Midwest.
Hi there
I'm Nathan, a product manager who came up through IT and networking. I've been Chief of Staff at a startup where the CEO recruited me to help run it, grew an agile org from 20 to 80-plus at Flywheel/WP Engine, and delivered the first big-data platform at a Fortune 500 company.
I build as well as plan. I write and ship code, prototype with LLM-based tools, and stay close to how the product actually gets made. I trained under Scrum co-creator Jeff Sutherland and Mike Cohn, and have coached client teams across four countries. Feel free to say hello.
